Our Dedicated Team Includes

  • Registered Managers – Leading each home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.
  • Team Leaders – Supporting leadership and guiding day-to-day operations.
  • Support Workers – Working directly with young people, offering care, guidance, and encouragement every day.
  • Waking Night Staff – Keeping young people safe and supported throughout the night.
  • Administrative Staff – Ensuring the smooth running of all home operations.

Qualifications and Experience

All staff at Serene Sparks are qualified or working towards recognised childcare qualifications. Our expectations include:

  • Managers: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare
  • Senior Staff/Team Leaders: Level 4 qualifications in childcare or equivalent
  • Support Workers: Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent

In addition to these core qualifications, many staff bring specialist experience in:

  • Youth work & mentoring
  • Mental health & emotional wellbeing
  • Special educational needs (SEN)
  • Therapeutic & trauma-informed approaches
  • Sports, arts & creative activities

This combination of professional training and real-life experience helps us meet the individual needs of every young person.
